- Jennifer Lopez appeared on NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday and spoke about portraying a stripper named Ramona in the movie “Hustlers,” which was released in September and has generated Oscar buzz for the actress.
- The 50-year-old entertainer said that she suggested her character’s pole dancing scene at the start of the film and no body doubles were used to film it.
- “I had the bruises, I took pictures to prove it,” Lopez, who trained for weeks prior to the film’s production, said.
- The actress went on to say that regarding one specific move, she told the director: “I don’t care if I look like a bat hanging upside down – my face is scrunched- make sure you get me. I don’t want anybody thinking it’s a double.”
